Justin Barham

Justin Barham and his beautiful wife, Ashlei, are raising their two growing boys, Oscar and Gunner in Roanoke City. They are very active in youth sports and in their community, and are blessed to have many close friends. Justin enjoys spending family time at VA Tech sporting events, traveling and cooking.

Before graduating VA Tech’s Pamplin School of Business in 1994, Justin served as a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps as a combat engineer. His father, Bob, was an insurance agent and was Justin’s role model. Bob’s faithful service to his clients inspired Justin to begin work in the financial services industry after graduation. Early on in his career Justin began to recognize how few people have an actual financial plan. He noticed most clients and advisors focus more on product than the on developing a plan to work towards their goals.

As a founding partner of Coastal Wealth Advisory Services and as a fiduciary, Justin knows there is no “silver bullet” and he has evolved his practice over the past 27 years to be holistic and plan focused. The goal of his practice is to find the tools appropriate to work towards his clients’ goals and avoid possible pitfalls to the plan.
